Відеоробота «Горизонти зникнення» апелює до феномену антропоцену через масштабну екологічну катастрофу лісових пожеж, спричинених кліматичними змінами та антропогенними факторами, включаючи війну в Україні. Який потенціал природи до регенерації в умовах постійної ентропійної взаємодії з людиною?
Ілюзорний образ зеленого лісу, який насправді приховує наслідки пожеж під «цифровим шумом», викриває напругу між природним та штучним, між життям і смертю. Проєкт акцентує на індивідуальній і колективній відповідальності у використанні природних ресурсів, ставлячи під сумнів етику споживацького ставлення до ландшафтів.
Відпочинок у лісі постає метафорою прихованої загрози, де кожна дія має глобальні наслідки, а спалені дерева — травматичні мітки на тілі природи. Робота є суб'єктивним осмисленням простору лісу як місця, що перебуває у постійному напруженні між рекреаційною утопією та потенційною катастрофою.

The video work Horizons of Extinction refers to the phenomenon of the Anthropocene through the large-scale ecological catastrophe of forest fires caused by climate change and anthropogenic factors, including the war in Ukraine. What is nature's potential for regeneration in the face of constant entropic interaction with humans?
The illusory image of a green forest, which actually hides the consequences of fires under the ‘digital noise’, reveals the tension between the natural and the artificial, between life and death. The project emphasises individual and collective responsibility in the use of natural resources, questioning the ethics of consumerism in relation to landscapes.
Recreation in the forest becomes a metaphor for a hidden threat, where every action has global consequences, and burnt trees are traumatic marks on the body of nature. The work is a subjective reflection on the space of the forest as a place in constant tension between recreational utopia and potential disaster.
