The work takes the form of an artistic game that parodies the concerns of older-generation artists who believe that contemporary art, such as installations and performances, destroys “real” art. In fact, installation art is a form of art closely related to scenography or museum exhibition design.

Концепція звертається до історичних зламів у способах поширення знання. У часи Яна Гуса ідеї циркулювали повільно та локально — у формі рукописних текстів і публічних оголошень, адресованих конкретній спільноті. З появою друкарського верстата Йоганна Гутенберга, яким згодом скористався Мартін Лютер, інформація набула здатності до масового, багаторазового відтворення й стрімкого поширення.

Інсталяція осмислює геометричну залежність розповсюдження інформації від технології: від лінійного руху рукописного тексту до експоненційного розширення друкованого й медіального простору. У цьому контексті «Галактика Гутенберга» постає не лише як історична епоха, а як модель мислення, у якій технологія формує саму структуру публічності, віри та знання.

The concept explores historical shifts in the ways knowledge is disseminated. In the time of Jan Hus, ideas circulated slowly and locally, in the form of handwritten texts and public announcements addressed to specific communities. With the emergence of Johannes Gutenberg's printing press, later used by Martin Luther, information acquired the ability to be reproduced on a mass scale and disseminated rapidly.

The installation examines the geometric relationship between the dissemination of information and technology: from the linear movement of handwritten text to the exponential expansion of printed and media space. In this context, The Gutenberg Galaxy emerges not merely as a historical era, but as a model of thought in which technology shapes the very structure of publicity, faith, and knowledge.
